Having found a suitable place, the female digs a mini-tunnel, drills under the upper layer of skin.
Why does a tick bite itch?
In a small dark tunnel, a female tick lays eggs. Days go by. The secret place where the female arranged her residence begins to itch a lot. Many patients cannot resist scratching themselves and damage their skin by scratching. And although the tunnel itself, dug by a tick, is small and not noticeable, but the skin around it is covered with scratches and scratches.
Scientists believe that this is an allergic reaction of the human body to tick feces, which accumulate in the subcutaneous tunnel.
